A square metre rate is easy to give over the phone, but it can move a long way once someone actually sees the site. We would rather give you a number that holds.

Because the site decides the price

Two driveways the same size can be thousands apart. One is flat, hard against the road, with a truck able to back up to it. The other is up a slope, behind a gate, with a tree root system under it and no access for anything bigger than a wheelbarrow.

A published rate would be wrong for one of them, and you would find out which after you had already committed.

Four things that speed it up

Rough sizeLength and width in metres, even paced out. It tells us what crew and how much concrete.
AccessCan a truck get within a few metres, or is it barrowed? This is the single biggest cost difference.
What is there nowBare dirt, lawn, or an old slab that has to come out and go somewhere.
The finish you wantPlain, coloured, exposed aggregate. Bring a photo if you have seen one you like.

Phone call

Five minutes. Tell us roughly what you are after and we will give you a ballpark and book a time to come and look.

Site visit

Free, and usually within the week. We measure, check access and look at where the water goes.

Written quote

Itemised, with prep, mesh, pump hire and spoil removal listed separately so nothing is hidden.

Booked in

We give you a week, then confirm the day once the weather is clear. Concrete and rain do not mix.

Pour and clean up

Formwork stripped, offcuts taken away, driveway swept. You should not be able to tell we were there except for the slab.

On a real build this page carries a working quote form that emails the office, with photo upload so people can send pictures of the site. This is an example site, so the form has been left off.
