Open at seven.
Still good at three.

A corner cafe that roasts its own, cooks everything to order and still has the good pastries at nine.

The short version

Everything made here, most of it before you arrive.

The bread comes in at six and the kitchen starts prepping straight after. We do not hold food under lamps, and if something has sold out we will tell you rather than serve you a worse version of it.

Coffee is roasted a few kilometres away by someone we have used for years. If you want it a particular way, say so — nobody here will be offended.

What people come in for

Three things we would not change.

The house blend

Chocolatey, low acid, and it still tastes like something with oat milk in it. Roasted weekly, never sat on.

Weekend brunch

Same menu, same kitchen, and food that comes out quickly. Walk-ins only, so come early.

The counter

Pastries, sandwiches and a couple of things that change depending on what looked good at the market.

Takeaway

Ring ahead and it will be on the counter.

The morning rush is real and we would rather you did not stand in it. Call through a coffee order and we will have it bagged and waiting with your name on it.

Larger orders for an office are fine too — give us an hour and tell us how many.
