What we do

Three kinds of job

We build new homes on your block, we put second storeys and rear extensions on houses people do not want to leave, and we do full renovations where the shell stays and everything else goes.

What we do not do is take on six jobs at once. Two or three run at a time, which is why the supervisor who quotes your job is the one standing on it.

Why it costs what it costs

The quote is the price

Most of the horror stories people tell us are about variations — the job that was quoted at one number and invoiced at another. So our quotes are itemised, the allowances are written down in dollars, and anything that changes has to be signed by you before it happens.

Site costsSurveyed and priced before contract, not carried as a vague allowance.
AllowancesTiles, tapware, appliances: a real dollar figure you can shop against.
VariationsPriced in writing and signed before work starts. No verbal extras.
Progress claimsAt the stages set out in the contract, after the stage is finished.
WarrantyStatutory warranty plus a written defects period after handover.
