Seven stages,

From the first site visit to the day you get the keys, here is exactly what happens and roughly how long each part takes.
Start to keys
Site visit
An hour on your block or in your house. Free, and you will get a rough range before we leave — a real one you can plan around.
Design and drawings
Either ours or yours. If you already have plans we will price them as drawn and tell you what we would change and why.
Fixed-price quote
Itemised, with real allowances in dollars. Usually two weeks after we have final drawings and a soil report.
Permits
We lodge and chase them. Council timeframes are what they are, but you will not be the one ringing them.
Site start
Slab or demolition, depending on the job. You get a written schedule with the stages and the dates we are working to.
Build
Frame, lock-up, fixing, finishes. Site walk with the supervisor at each stage, and photos in between if you cannot get there.
Handover
Final inspection, defects list agreed on the spot, manuals and warranties handed over in one folder.
Being kept in the loop
You get the supervisor’s mobile number, not a general office line. Calls before 7pm on a weekday get answered or returned the same day.
If something goes wrong — a delivery is late, a trade lets us down, the weather kills a week — we ring you and tell you. We have never found that hiding it makes it better.
