This policy explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. It is written in plain English rather than legal language, and it describes what we actually do.
What we collect
The only information we collect is what you type into a form on this site. Depending on the form, that is your name, your business name, your suburb or area, your phone number, your email address, your current website address if you have one, and whatever you write in the message box.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site, and we do not collect them.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, to prepare a quote or a free website audit, and to contact you about the work you asked us about. That is all. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Where it goes
When you submit a form, two things happen. The details are stored in this website’s database, and a copy is emailed to us so we can reply. Both the website and the mailbox sit on Australian servers.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own use. The only party who can technically access it is our hosting provider, who keeps the servers and mailboxes running.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a reasonable chance of doing work together, and then removed. If you become a client, we keep your contact details for as long as we are working together and for as long afterwards as our record-keeping obligations require.
Cookies
This site sets a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work: WordPress and the page builder use them to display pages correctly, and our caching system uses them to serve pages quickly.
We do not run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels on this site, and we are not running website analytics at the time of writing. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and say what you want done. There is no charge, and we will action it within a reasonable time.
Security
This site runs over HTTPS, so anything you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Access to the website and the mailbox is password protected. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not hold anything more sensitive than your contact details.
If you are not happy
Tell us first through the contact form and we will try to sort it out. If you are still not satisfied, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
